After a two-year hiatus, the Rally for 716 Squash was back with 6 teams of supporters competing to raise the most funds to support our students and programming. Our most successful event to date, we surpassed our $100,000 goal and raised $123,500. On May 7th, we welcomed, students, families, supporters, and special guests, Elizabeth Gurney, Key Bank’s Director of Corporate Philanthropy and the Executive Director of the First Niagara Foundation, and Buffalo’s Mayor Byron Brown.
Our Team is Growing!
In May, 716 Squash welcomed a new cohort of excited 5th graders for the first time since the pandemic. Congratulations to our 12 students from West Buffalo Charter School, whose hard work, kindness, and dedication earned them a spot on our growing team.
